Brief programme summary by Paul Trafford
Although this information has been put together based on materials distributed at the time of the conference, it is likely that there are some inaccuracies.
This unusual conference, entitled To Catch the Bird of Heaven, was organised by Christopher Lamb and Edward Bailey, who at that time were at Middlesex's Centre for Interfaith Dialogue. The conference invited scholars to address the theme of wisdom in the delightful setting of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. Details were published on the Web at Middlesex and there was the hope that the papers could form the basis of a book, but alas that never happened and even the Web site disappeared. I felt it was a very worthwhile effort and privileged to be part of it, so rather belatedly I've decided to archive at least the programme.
